Facebook, Amazon And More Brands Get Called Out In Takedown Smear Campaign

A group of creatives, known as MSCHF, has set up a smear campaign against nine major brands, including Facebook, TikTok, Amazon, and Tesla, as part of its Anti Advertising Advertising Club project.
The collective released a series of TikTok clips with sounds mocking each brand directly, and called out sponsored posts as “cringe-y ubiquitous evil of social platforms.”
The group encourages people to repost the sounds to earn some cash relative to the brand and view count in their posts.
For example, when users upload the sound dedicated to Facebook in their TikTok clip, they will be given US$4,000 when they amass around two million views.
The project requires participants to send the proof to receive the cash payout on MSCHF’s microsite. Check out some of the clips the group has created against certain brands below.
