If you miss the good old days of MTV music videos running in the background while you went about your daily tasks, Apple now has the next best thing for the times. The company has just launched a 24-hour Apple Music TV channel that streams music videos nonstop without any ads.
At present, the streaming channel seems to almost exclusively air human-curated music videos, with its opening act being a marathon of Apple Music’s top 100 music videos. The platform will also release new music videos every Friday, Ars Technica reports.
In time, it will include special appearances too; an all-day Bruce Springsteen event will kick off on 22 October, and it will feature footage and interviews with the singer-songwriter in line with the launch of his latest album.
You won’t need an Apple Music or Apple TV+ subscription to be able to watch Apple Music TV. To access the channel, simply open the TV or Music app via an Apple device, or head over here.
The channel is currently only available in the US, though, possibly due to licensing reasons.
