Back in 2017, director Zack Snyder had stepped down from working on DC’s Justice League film, and fans were left devastated. They even created a movement on petition site Change.org called “Release the Snyder Cut.”
Now, it looks like DC fans might just get what they asked for, as Snyder has recently announced that he is working on a full version, which is set to release on HBO Max in 2021.
The director also stated that the Synder cut will run for four hours. “It’s going to be in four parts, one hour each, so four hours of Justice League is coming your way,” Snyder detailed at DC FanDome.
In a report by Deadline, Jared Leto is set to reprise his role as Joker in the film. There will also be a new villain, Darkseid as an addition to Synder’s version.
Fans can get a glimpse of the new version in the trailer below.
