Borat 2 wasted no time in diving right into the comedic antics 14 years after the original film.
Borat 2: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, which is now available to watch on Amazon Prime, saw Borat roasting Justin Trudeau in blackface just two minutes in.
The scene began with Kazakhstan’s president saying that the US was “ruined by an evil man who stood against all American values. His name? Barack Obama.”
Borat then chimed in, adding, “This led to other Africans becoming political leaders.” The scene immediately cuts to the infamous photo of Justin Trudeau in blackface.
The photo, which was originally taken back in 2001 at a Halloween party, stirred up controversy around the prime minister. This inadvertently made for perfect material for the Borat sequel.
