Actors Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have been playfully teasing each other in a long-standing feud since the 2008 X-Men film Wolverine.
Their cheeky banter often see the two mocking each other in films, or online. Now, the pair have teamed up in a new campaign for membership wholesale group Sam’s Club.
In a recent video, the duo has a stand-off with each looking at the other with their respective company logos behind them.
It turns out Jackman’s Laughing Man Cafe and Reynolds’ Aviation American Gin are launching a benefit raise donations.
Laughing Man will give 100-percent of its donations to educational programs and community development in several countries, while Aviation Gin will support workers who have been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic via its Bartender Emergency Assistance Program.
The stars will also join forces to aid Toronto’s SickKids Foundation.
“We’re bringing our feud to @samsclub. I only agreed to do this because it’s for [two] great foundations. And, it’s always an awesome day when I get to humiliate @vancityreynolds,” Jackman wrote on social media.
Reynolds responded by writing, “Soon you’ll have the chance to help me humiliate @thehughjackman while also helping @sickkidsvs. #WinWin @aviationgin.”
