Watch where you’re going, pipsqueak! Hyundai has just previewed what it has termed its “smallest EV,” made for the smallest drivers.
The new petite model takes after an ‘EV Concept 45’ concept design that the automaker showed off at last year’s International Motor Show in Frankfurt. It sports an angular yet smooth silhouette, along with the 45’s “kinetic cube lamp,” and a ‘Performance Blue’ finish with orange accents.
On top of that, the single-seater is truly built like an electric car, with smart sensors and technology like Emotion Adaptive Vehicle Control (EAVC) cameras that study the driver’s facial expressions to control music and lighting. According to Input Mag, there are also sensors available to track the young driver’s heart rate and respiration.
The minicar, whose design has been likened by Hyundai fans to Tesla’s Cyberstruck, can travel at up to 4.3mph, thanks to the two DC motors that power it.
At present, Hyundai doesn’t have a release date for the unnamed car, but those hoping to upgrade their three-wheelers can prime themselves with its exciting trailer in the meantime.
