Italy has shared many wonderful culinary creations to the world, including the beloved breakfast spread: Nutella.
Nutella’s parent company, Ferrero, has now teamed up with Italy’s board of tourism to launch a new campaign called Ti Amo Italia, or “I Love You Italy.”
The campaign has released 30 Nutella bottles showcasing designs of Italian’s historic landmarks to remind people about the vibrancy of the country.
Some of the designs include notable locations like Lake Como, the Via Appia Antiqua, and the ancient Appian road.
As the coronavirus pandemic has halted travel at the moment, the new labels will include a QR code that customers can scan to take an immersive virtual tour of the different places from their own homes.
“Nutella shows its love for Italy on every jar and reminds us you don't need to look far to see the great things in life, sometimes you just need to look around. In this difficult moment for a strategic tourism sector of our economy, Nutella and ENIT to showcase to Italians their greatest national wealth: the beauty of Italy itself, the true and real one, made of nature and art, cities and villages, seas and mountains, the envy of the world,” Alessandro d'Este, CEO of Ferrero Commerciale Italia, said about the campaign.
