Crocs, raised for functionality, is now pushing its core to where it’s needed the most: the wilderness.
The company’s latest collaboration with Foot Locker’s innovative front Project Greenhouse is a walking “survival kit,” designed by New York-based sustainable fashion designer Nicole McLaughlin, that literally takes you where you need to go in nature with a built-in compass and more.
The Nicole McLaughlin x Crocs Campsite Classic Clog packs in camping essentials like a small pocket with zippers, carabiner, flashlight, paracord, compass, and rope.
Blending utility and design, the footwear arrives with maroon and olive green ankle gaiters that also serve as weather insulators and ankle support for hiking.
Despite the all-inclusive design, the one-stop clogs continue to embrace Crocs’ repute for being comfortable and lightweight. The shoes, “rooted in cozy functionality,” endeavor to offer “comfort to post-rock climbing and the outdoors.”
The survival-friendly Campsite Classic Clogs, priced at just US$79.99, are now available on Crocs.com.
