London-based homeware project BILLY is hosting a one-off IKEA archive sale, giving fans of the Swedish furniture brand a chance to nab over 100 pieces of its eclectic back catalog of goods.
The project is founded five years ago by Harry Stayt, who is fascinated with the furniture company. He took a trip to Älmhult Sweden and sourced IKEA catalogs that dated back to 1970. Since then, he decided to curate an expansive collection of vintage goods from IKEA.
According to Highsnobiety, the curated collection will spotlight some of IKEA’s boldest designs such as Verner Panton’s VILBERT chair, Niels Gammelgaard’s TED NET chair and Harry Allen’s KILA lamp. Expect to see pieces over the past five decades, and each item will start around US$70.
BILLY’s IKEA archives sale launches on 26 November at the BILLY.forsale website.
