Fast-food restaurants are synonymous with value, but one YouTuber takes things further by serving up free burgers, along with other extravagant perks, at his new chain.
Jimmy Donaldson, more popularly known as MrBeast by his 48 million subscribers on YouTube, has opened a restaurant called MrBeast Burger with a whopping 300-plus locations across the United States.
For the brand’s opening, Donaldson turned his North Carolina location into the “world’s first free restaurant,” promising free burgers and stacks of cash. Some customers also got free AirPods, iPads, and other premium products. One car got hit while waiting in line, and the YouTuber made up for it by gifting the driver a whole new car.
Beyond launching for hype, MrBeast Burger endeavors to give back, and every burger purchased will help feed hungry families.
Unsurprisingly, opening day turned out to be chaotic, what with all the free food and stuff. After attracting a 20-mile line of traffic, the MrBeast Burger location was forced to close early by the police.
While it’s not possible to dine at a physical location at the moment, you’ll still be able to give the chain a go as it is now widely available for delivery. You can order from one of the restaurant’s 300 outlets via DoorDash, UberEats, Postmates, and GrubHub, and see if its burgers are up to par with those from giants like In-N-Out and Five Guys.
International fans will have to wait it out, however, as MrBeast hasn’t succeeded in opening a branch overseas yet. He intends to do that, so stay tuned.
