MSCHF, the creators of viral marketing stunts like Jesus-themed Nikes and a radio streaming pirated television shows, is encouraging you to turn your favorite Disney characters into food via a new program called Walt’s Kitchen.
“Cook with your favorite Disney characters,” the website reads, featuring Mickey’s famous gloves and a cleaver knife on each hand.
There are nine Disney-focused recipes to choose from, like deer, chicken, fish, rabbit, to name a few. These are basically Disney characters that you are cooking, from Bambi to Flounder from The Little Mermaid.
The recipe landing page features the full ingredients list and a quick video showing how to whip up the dishes, layered with Disney-style music. Each recipe card shows the floating heads of the dismembered Disney characters.
MSCHF’s point is to illustrate the world we live in and how quickly it can get threatened by a corporation. Disney has laid off thousands of employees during the pandemic and created a monopoly in the media industry by purchasing over 20th Century Fox.
“We wish we could do this to the entire Disney corporation, which is a monstrous anti-trust violation actively blanding culture,” a MSCHF representative said. “But we’ll have to settle for symbolically taking it out on their little critters.”
