Disney has previewed the light side of the future, when traveling becomes more readily available, with the first real look inside its Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser rooms.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Walt Disney World will be opening a Star Wars-focused hotel with two cabin sizes: a regular version and larger ‘Captain’s Quarters’.
Before, Disney only showed off concept artworks of the facility, but fans now have an actual glimpse of the quarters, thanks to photos shared by Walt Disney World Resort president Jeff Vahle.
As reported by Travel Awaits, the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will sort of follow a Disney Cruise format, where guests will be given a two-night itinerary and are required to “arrive” and “depart” at set timings.
Guests will begin their expedition and check in at the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal, before visiting a Launch Pod to “blast off into space.” They’ll then stay at the Halcyon starcruiser for two nights.
The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser promises an all-immersive experience, where guests will have to undergo lightsaber training, steer the ship, and more.
