Coca-Cola With Coffee has finally hit stores in the US.
The product, which is made with Brazilian coffee, comes in three iterations—Dark Blend, Vanilla and Caramel flavors. Each 12-ounce can carries 69 milligrams of coffee.
There is also a calorie-free zero sugar version, Coca-Cola With Coffee Zero Sugar, that gives you the same buzz without the calories.
“This is a truly unique hybrid innovation that will pioneer a new category we’re calling refreshment coffee,” vice president of Coca-Cola Trademark Jaideep Kibe said.
Coca-Cola With Coffee was first launched in Japan back in 2017 and its popularity took off. Since then, the beverage is being enjoyed by markets in different parts of the world, including Australia, Italy, and Vietnam. Now, the drink has finally made it into the US market.
Brand director of trademark at Coca-Cola in North America, Brandan Strickland, said that the company took two years to test the concoction in the US ahead of its launch.
“It’s not just testing a product and a formula, but it’s also making sure that we have the right packaging, that we’re really understanding what consumers want in the drink,” he explained.
Coca-Cola with Coffee is targeted at customers who wish to consume an afternoon caffeine pickup that isn’t a cup of coffee.
