Are you drawn to the same artists as your peers?
Museum visits are still a little out of reach, so more and more people might be turning to the internet for creative inspiration. In the past year, you’ve probably also seen museums open up virtual experiences to make art accessible to all.
Now, if there were a museum that featured the work of the world’s most famous artists, who would it include? Based on Google data gathered by Ken Bromley Art Supplies, Leonardo da Vinci, Frida Kahlo, and Pablo Picasso are a must.
The art materials store has created a series of maps illustrating the “most googled” artists in each country, according to Google Keyword findings in February 2021.
Leonardo da Vinci still seems to mesmerize the world the most, with his name being echoed in 82 nations. Frida Kahlo comes second with searches from 29 countries, followed by Vincent van Gogh with prominence in 24 countries.
Check out which artist might have made the greatest impression in your country with the maps below, and find out more over at Ken Bromley Art Supplies. The website notes that, due to a lack of data from certain countries, “we have only included the countries with enough data to analyze.”
