LEGO has decided to educate the younger generation in Poland about air pollution through its latest campaign.
According to LBB Online, 79.9 percent of energy in Poland is produced through coal. The pollution in the country is significant but the younger generation isn’t taught about this important issue in schools.
So, LEGO has teamed up with Ogilvy Social. Lab in Poland to educate the growing younger population as part of LEGO’s Rebuild the World positioning. The duo has launched Green Instructions, which teach users how to transform LEGO sets into greener versions.
Using LEGO’s iconic blocks, the campaign sees cars turning into bicycles or scooters, planes into electric cars, and coal mines into electric generating windmills.
Ogilvy Social. Lab has also launched online lessons as an extension of the campaign. These classes are led by Polish teachers and are made available to the public.
