For those who enjoyed the live-action Scooby-Doo film, this detail might take you aback for a bit.
The portrayal of Scooby-Doo didn’t come from a real dog, but a CGIed animal that was added in post-production. During filming, though, he was played by a seemingly nightmarish, green-clad figure.
A behind-the-scenes footage of the live-action movie, shared by TikTok user @filmlersokagi, reveals that the beloved Scooby-Doo was depicted by a harrowing masked figure in a dress, complete with a bag and green boots.
Other backstage footages shared by the user include work in Dumbo and I, Robot. In the clip for I, Robot, Will Smith appeared to be pointing a gun at a robot, which was actually a person in a full-body green suit. For Dumbo, an actor could be seen walking on all fours to take the shape of the cartoon elephant.
