There’s a McDonald’s around every corner, and now, you could be driving in a version of one.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary since McDonald’s first set foot in Japan, the fast-food behemoth has teamed up with automaker Nissan to put Happy Meals… on wheels. In unveiling the brand new 2022 Nissan GT-R NISMO, Nissan also presented a gleaming McDonald’s-themed special edition that adds fresh meaning to Golden Arches.

McDonald’s branding can not only be seen in the livery’s reflective gold finish, but also on its wheels, carbon fiber splitter, diffuser, and side skirts, where red accents can be found. Together, the hues apparently nod at the appearance of McDonald’s fries, Autoblog reports.
The original Nissan GT-R NISMO sports a Stealth Gray colorway, along with similar red detailing.

The collaborationhas also made a trip down to McDonald’s, as miniature forms of the GT-R NISMO have been turned into toys for Japan’s version of the Happy Meal. Most of them will take on the Stealth Gray finish, with the occasional golden rendition appearing in boxes like rare gold (Mc)Nuggets.

Needless to say, McDonald’s fans young and of legal driving age alike will absolutely be lovin’ it.
