Polaroid has unveiled its newest camera model: the Polaroid Go, also known as the “smallest instant analog camera in the world.”
According to the brand, the new Polaroid Go will come in a white colorway. This pocket-sized camera is the tiniest launch from the company, measuring 4.1 inches long, 3.3 inches wide and 2.4 inches tall.
The new instant camera sports a polycarbonate resin lens with a 34-mm focal length (in 35-mm film terms), an aperture of f/12 and f/52 and has a shutter speed of 1/125 - 30 seconds. There is also a selfie mirror for framing up solo shots, a self-timer for at-a-distance group opportunities, a dynamic flash, and a double-exposure feature for more creative options.
The Polaroid Go also uses its own Go film, which is a scaled-back version of the classic Polaroid square format film.
“We spent years designing the Polaroid Go camera from the inside out,” Oskar Smolokowski, CEO of the brand said in a press release. “The camera’s internal components are arranged like a three-dimensional Tetris, using a careful composition to achieve a simple and effortless exterior and deliver the smallest size instant analog camera possible.”
The Polaroid Go camera is up for pre-order from today for a suggested retail price of US$99.99. The Go film, which has 16 exposures, is priced at US$19.99 for a double pack.
