Recently, Netflix surveyed selected users on a potential new addition to its service, named ‘N-Plus’. This platform could include custom television playlists, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, and even podcasts.
According to a survey sent to Protocol, Netflix quizzed users on a wide range of features. The streaming provider shared, “N-Plus is a future online space where you can learn more about the Netflix shows you love and anything related to them.”
One key feature Netflix could be introducing is the ability to create custom playlists, so N-Plus users could possibly create lists of their favorite shows, and share them online with friends.
This idea could also extend to music, with the survey querying participants on what they thought about N-Plus listing music from a television show, and allowing users to create music playlists from it.
When Protocol reached out to Netflix, a spokesperson said the survey was part of efforts to poll the audience on features the company was exploring, but it didn’t have anything else to share for now.
Even though we don’t yet know which features will make it to N-Plus when it officially launches, it’s clear to see Netflix is planning to expand beyond just film and television.
