If this extra time at home has fueled you to branch out career-wise—and by branch out, we mean starting a new company, here’s an educational resource you could add to your arsenal.
YCombinator, a leading Silicon Valley accelerator, has launched a completely free ‘Startup School’ for both current startup founders and budding entrepreneurs alike. The site consists of best practices and advice from experts, along with “US$100,000 worth of software deals” to use for your business.
The curriculum includes lessons for How to Get Startup Ideas, How to Talk to Users, How to Pitch Your Startup, How to Prioritize Your Time, and How to Find the Right Co-Founder.
Learners can also interact with other founders via weekly video chats, where they can take in or offer more advice on how to grow a startup.
Anyone with an internet connection can enroll in the program, as the platform is built on the belief that “all founders should have access to the best startup advice - no matter where in the world you’re building your company.”
