New information released by tech leaker Jon Prosser, who also shared details about the new iMacs and MacBook Air before their launches, suggests that the Apple Watch 7 might come with a few significant design changes.
Based on renders created by Prosser and RendersByIan, the new Apple Watch seems to have a display that stretches right to the edges of the watch, with rounded corners and a dial. The imagery is apparently based on schematics obtained by tech accessory makers ahead of product releases.
Fans can also expect the Apple Watch 7 to take some cues from the newly-launched iPads, featuring flatter edges and a less gradual transition to the watch band.
The dial, edges, and back of the watch look to match the color of the case, while the red accent on the dial has been minimized to a ring instead of the full cap, as per SlashGear.
If the renders are accurate, you could possibly see the Apple Watch 7 being released in various hues similar to the new iMac—which, judging by reactions so far, might offer some clues about how well-received colorful Apple Watches would be. According to Prosser, fans could be able to get their hands on the Apple Watch 7 in the colors of red, pale blue, pastel green, white, and black.
Could this new color scheme extend to the iPhone 13 too? You’ll just have to wait and see.
