TikTok has rolled out a new anti-bullying update, now allowing users to delete multiple comments at once, or report them for violating community guidelines. Accounts that have been found guilty of posting negative comments can also be blocked in bulk, too.
On their videos, users can now select up to 100 comments to delete or block at once, instead of having to go through them one by one. TikTok said this new feature adds to its ongoing efforts to build a kind and welcoming community on the app.
Other than this new feature, the social media app had also recently introduced a way for users to filter comments, so only those chosen by a creator appears on their content. This helps keep negative comments or trolls from being visible on their videos.
Earlier this month, TikTok also launched a bullying prevention guide, to help users identify bullying and learn tools to provide help to victims. By introducing these features to combat and prevent bullying, the app hopes to become a safer place for creators.
