Apple has introduced a new battery pack for its iPhone 12 lineup that will help to sustain iPhone power when you’re on the go.
The new MagSafe Battery Pack is retailing at US$99, available in Apple’s signature white. With just a snap, you’ll be able to attach it securely to the back of an iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max and charge your device wirelessly.
When the magnetic battery pack is attached to the iPhone on the go, it’ll charge with approximately five watts of power. With no on or off switch, your phone will know when to charge automatically. Plus, there’s no interference with credit cards or key fobs, making it safe to tote around in your bag.
If you’ve got access to a Lightning cable, simply plug it into the MagSafe Battery Pack to charge your iPhone and battery pack at once. You can then track the status of the charge on the iPhone’s lock screen.
The MagSafe Battery Pack is part of Apple’s larger MagSafe ecosystem, which allows for easy attachment and faster wireless charging on its iPhone 12 lineup. From cases to leather wallets to wireless chargers, simply snap on and snap off for your ever-changing needs.
