Google has joined the Tokyo Olympics fever with its largest-ever interactive Doodle game.
Aptly named the Doodle Champion Island Games, users can play as ninja cat Lucky as she competes in various mini-games in order to win the title of a sporting champion.
Created by Tokyo-based animators from STUDIO4°C, the game feels familiar to the 16-bit mini-games we used to play in the early days of the internet.
Soak in the nostalgia as you travel around the island to partake in Olympic activities such as table tennis, skateboarding, archery, and other challenges. Users can also pick one of four color teams to participate in the global rankings.
Can’t wait to get started? Head over to the game here, or watch the adorable trailers below.
