Anyone who’s drunk orange juice for breakfast has probably experienced the horrible aftertaste of brushing their teeth right after.
In fact, as reported by FoodSided, in a survey conducted by Tropicana, 78% of people agreed that toothpaste ruined the taste of a morning glass of OJ.
Some respondents described the taste as similar to “burnt toast or dirty pennies,” and 60% of people felt the combination was even worse than socks and sandals, as per Thrillist.
Of course, no one’s advocating for skipping brushing your teeth in the morning, because that’d be bad hygiene. Instead, the brand has found a clever way to get rid of the arid taste in your mouth when toothpaste and juice mix: a Tropicana Toothpaste.
Created in partnership with Dynamic Blending Specialists, this exclusive offering won’t be for sale in stores, but will be given out via the brand’s social media channels.
If you’re intrigued, be sure to check out Tropicana’s pages on November 1, when it will reveal more about how to get your hands on its one-of-a-kind toothpaste.
With this problem having existed for so long, it’s surprising how no one’s thought of a solution till now. Could toothpaste that mixes well with juice become a household staple soon?
