Xbox turned 20 earlier this month, and it decided to celebrate its anniversary by extolling the ones that got it this far. In time with the dawning of the metaverse, the Microsoft-owner gaming company has opened the virtual Xbox Museum, allowing players to explore its past and, embarrassingly, their own.
It's time to explore your gaming legacy.

Lovers of digital relics would be delighted to know that they can now run around 3D themed rooms to look at features related to old Xbox consoles, as well as the events tied to them during their eras, in this vast exhibition.

And just like in an actual museum, you’ll be sharing the space with other real-life characters, though you won’t be interacting with them.

The highlight of this art show, though, is you—talk about being somewhere meta. On display are statistics like your most-played game, among other achievements. And if you’ve had an Xbox Live account for ages, the museum will unravel your entire gaming history from all generations of consoles that you own.

You won’t need a member pass to visit the Xbox Museum; entry is free on the browser even for anonymous visitors. However, an Xbox account ensures a personalized experience, somewhat serving as a VIP pass. To visit the virtual museum, hop here.
