Last month, Netflix debuted an in-house ranking site displaying the top films and television series worldwide.
Now, it’s launching yet another platform—called ‘Tudum’, after the sound the player makes—which will be the site for fans to get all the latest news, release dates, and behind-the-scenes content of their favorite shows.
Calling it “a place to discover more about your Netflix favorites,” Netflix said that the website is still in its early days, but more content and features will be added in the future to make it more interactive. If you want a curated experience, similar to your Netflix’s algorithm itself, you can log into the site using the same account credentials.
According to TechCrunch, fans will be able to learn trivia about the streaming service’s many hits. For example, you can find out where else the cast of The Witcher has appeared, or if Maid is really based on a true story. The site will also include exclusive interviews, details on the cast, a ‘Trending News’ section, and sneak peeks on upcoming releases.
“I’m excited to introduce Tudum for fans to dive deeper into the stories they love, fuel their obsessions, and start new conversations,” said Bozoma Saint John, Chief Marketing Officer of Netflix.
