Move over, David Attenborough, there’s a new wildlife narrator in town: Barack Obama.
Netflix has announced that the former president has lent his voice to an upcoming series on protected floral and fauna worldwide, named Our Great National Parks.
“Around the world, the more isolated the national park, the more unusual its creatures and the more extraordinary their behaviors,” Obama quips at the start of the trailer.
According to Forbes, the five-part series will feature national parks on five continents, including Tsavo National Park in Kenya, Indonesia’s Gunung Leuser National Park, and the Chilean Patagonia.
The show is scheduled to debut in April and will show Obama walking barefoot on a beach while introducing the different destinations.
Additionally, the former head of state is one of the executive producers on the project, which is part of the streaming service’s deal with Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions.
