KFC Opens New ‘Crystal Bucket’ Restaurant With Floor-To-Ceiling Glass Windows

Just in Q1 2022 alone, KFC has opened the door to 14 new outlets in the country, though there’s one that stands out: ‘The Crystal Bucket’ in Painted Post, New York.
Featuring a chic circular design, the store is decked out with floor-to-ceiling glass windows letting in tons of natural light, with hanging glass pendants adorning its cathedral wood ceiling.
As per QSR Magazine, its owners were inspired by the legacy of nearby Corning town as a glass manufacturer, and wanted to incorporate as many glass elements as possible into the building’s design.
According to QSR Web, the restaurant sits 40 people in its 2,542-square-foot space, and comprises the fast-food chain’s Next Generation design concepts, including bowtie chairs, ‘Quick Pick-Up’ shelves, and dedicated signage and parking for online orders.
Impressively, the building, which was a former bank, also houses a vault door filled with the brand’s 11 famed herbs and spices. Who wouldn’t want to get a peek at that?
Tonya Mangels, Vice President of the agency behind the design, KBP Brands, said that the store’s design was “distinctive and original,” likening it to KFC’s iconic bucket, and hopes the addition will be “a memorable new destination” for locals to enjoy a finger licking good meal.
