Following the success of the Stranger Things games, Netflix has announced nine new titles that will join its games section. From The Queen’s Gambit to Money Heist and plenty of others, Netflix is now giving fans of the show an all-new way to experience their favorite series.
The games are set to be released later this year with, The Queen’s Gambit chess game to be released this coming summer.
In The Queen’s Gambit Chess, players can go up against the show’s characters or battle online with users from around the world. The show incited a newfound interest in chess for many; with that, the chess and puzzle game also teaches novices how to play chess.
The Money Heist game, which was developed by Killasoft, will be a third-person stealth heist game that lets the players experience the thrill of the heist, from cracking safes to picking locks and even crawling through vents.

Other hit series to be adapted include Too Hot To Handle and Shadow and Bones, whose game versions are slated to be released next year. Netflix will also be adding wholly original games unassociated with its existing entertainment offerings, with titles like Lucky Luna moving into its repository.

Last month, Netflix introduced Exploding Kittens to its game app which is now being adapted into an adult animation coming soon to the streaming service.
This new venture comes just as Netflix is seeing a fall in subscribers and stock prices. Perhaps foreseeing that television series and movies aren’t futureproof, the streaming giant began actively acquiring gaming and virtual-reality expertise last year.
The games are playable for all subscribers of the streaming service, but will be hosted on a separate app.
