If you’re looking for a high-fashion alternative to casual footwear, Dior by Birkenstock may be for you.
The highly-anticipated collection has finally launched, featuring back-strapped Milano Sandals and Tokio Mules, which comes with a covered front.
Both styles are available in either black nuback leather or ‘Dior gray’ felted wool, with an additional ‘griege’ nuback option for the mule; and feature the fashion house’s signature rollercoaster buckle.

The sandals, which have their soles adorned with a special combination of Dior’s Oblique motif and Birkenstock’s bone-patterned tread, is said to be a tribute to “Monsieur Dior’s passion for gardening by combining functionality and elegance.”
Of course, if you’re looking to exude the same luxury, you’ll have to fork out US$1,100 for a pair. Despite the high price tag, the sandals are mostly sold out online, though more could be available in-store.
