Kanye West’s New Trademark Filings Signal Possibility Of ‘YZYSPLY’ Retail Stores

Following Kanye West’s possible foray into the automotive space, new reports have emerged about the media mogul’s latest trademark filings, giving rise to rumors that YEEZY fans could soon find themselves shopping at retail stores in real life. 

According to documents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as seen by Page Six Style, the rapper’s Mascotte Holdings requested to trademark “YZYSPLY” on June 29, 2022, with details noting the name would be used for “retail stores [and] retail store services,” and “on-line ordering services and on-line retail store services.” 

On the same day, the company filed a separate claim stating the forthcoming retail spaces would offer a wide array of apparel and footwear, ranging from ski apparel to underwear, swimwear, and sportswear. 

WWD notes that West’s latest trademark is an abbreviated spelling of his Yeezy Supply website, which was set up in collaboration with Adidas, who has yet to comment on the matter. 

Could this mean Ye is looking to branch out on his own? Well, with how he had chastised the sportswear giant for allegedly “ripping off” his designs, this filing could pour fuel on rumors that the pop-culture phenomenon could be striking out alone.
