Those planning to head off on a vacation would have no doubt trudged through numerous airliners in hopes of finding the most comfortable journey to their destination.
Now, after revealing that it has acquired the highly-anticipated Airbus A330neo, Virgin Atlantic has unveiled new Upper Class cabins and luxurious ‘Retreat Suites’ for travelers, which it says are the most spacious in the airline’s history.
Described as a “brand new innovation,” the two exclusive suites located at the front of the cabin will comprise a six-foot-seven-inch seat that converts to a fully flat bed, and a 27-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity and wireless charging for non-stop entertainment.
In addition, each suite comes with an ottoman that doubles as an extra seat, and enough space for four guests to dine, chat, or just hang out in a comfortable private space.
Aside from the swanky ‘Retreat Suites’, Virgin Atlantic will offer 30 brand-new Upper Class suites, which will provide more space and storage than usual seats, allowing guests to access a fully-closing privacy door with a ‘do not disturb’ feature.
“We care about every detail of the cabin design and every step of our customer’s journey,” quipped Corneel Koster, Chief Customer and Operating Officer.
“We’re proud to unveil our state of the art A330neo and show the evolution of our customer experience, with each of our customers receiving a premium experience regardless of the cabin they travel in.”
