On Wednesdays—and all other days of the week—Jimmy Choo shoenistas will eat pink.
The luxury shoe label has taken over the Shoe Heaven on the fifth story of Harrods in London with an eatery as sweet as cotton candy. At Jimmy Choo’s Choo Café, the walls, the furniture, and even the food are swathed in a striking hot pink. Instagrammers with Barbiecore inclinations, this one is for you.
The menu, crafted by Harrods’ in-house culinary experts, saturates British summer favorites in fuchsia, stamping them with an edible Jimmy Choo monogram.
Arty treats on offer include strawberry éclairs, raspberry croissants, miniature Victoria sponge cakes, chocolate-raspberry mousse cubes, summer berry jelly, rose tea, and pink champagne.
Those with a taste for the savory might prefer to tuck into English tea sandwiches and open-faced choux crostinis with homemade mozzarella and beet-cured salmon. Of course, all this is served with pink, gold-accented Jimmy Choo crockery.
The main course, without a doubt, the visual feast that is the Art Deco interior. The café is lavishly decked out in plush pink carpeting, sculptural seating, and gold mirrored accents, bringing to mind the cushy bags of this fall’s Varenne Avenue Collection.
