As stealthy as you think you are, it’s no secret Chipotle knows about customers “accidentally” filling their complimentary water cups with lemonade instead.
In fact, the fast food chain has even participated in light-hearted banter on the topic with fans over the years on Twitter.
Drawing inspiration from a post made back in 2019, and in celebration of National Lemonade Day, the restaurant is now introducing a limited-edition lemonade-scented soy candle, designed to look exactly like its iconic water cup.
From August 18, fans can snag the exclusive candle online at the company’s official store, while supplies last. Plus, with every purchase of the candle, each customer will receive a unique promotional code that they can trade in for a free lemonade at their nearest Chipotle outlet.
This isn’t the first time the brand has released a gag gift, with its Cilantro Soap—meant to poke fun at those who taste soap when they bite into cilantro—launching late last year.
It appears the chain is committed to staying on top of the internet chatter and memes, saying that customers “feel even more connected to Chipotle” through these humorous efforts.
