If you’re looking for a pet—and an extremely low-maintenance one at that—then look no further than JW Anderson’s Pigeon… clutch bag, also a Fall 2022 statement piece. You don’t even have to water it.
3D-printed from resin, the US$890 clutch is realistically shaped like a pigeon. Only this time, you’ll be the one cooing.
There are no straps or handles, and you take it around town by holding it in your hand, being very careful not to make any eye contact with the other guy who has a real parrot on his shoulder. Bonus: It can carry your belongings for you.
The cluckless clutch stands on its own two claws. Pulling its wing opens up a compartment for you to stash your earbuds, keys, and—for a touch of realism/anatomical accuracy—French fries that its living counterparts occasionally steal from your plate.
According to the Wall Street Journal, fans flocked to get their hands on the Pigeon Clutch Bag so it’s currently all sold out.
