JBL Rethinks The Forgotten Earbud Case With A Useful Touchscreen
By Nicole Rodrigues, 31 Aug 2022
In a world where manufacturers are making earpieces like the AirPod, JBL is shifting the gaze to the part people rarely think about: the case.
The holder that the noise-canceling Tour Pro 2 earbuds arrive in has an innovative 1.45-inch LED touchscreen display to serve its users better.
Music lovers can easily swipe between songs, pause, play, and toggle between noise-canceling and ambient modes.
But that’s not all this case can do. You can also check your call history, messages, and social media notifications right on its little screen. It also allows you to take calls by tapping directly onto the case.
When it comes to music, everyone has their own sound preferences, whether you prefer something with more bass or something that can lift the highs and lows of jazz. The Tour Pro 2 allows you to customize your sound with its Personi-fi 2.0 software.
Additionally, the earbuds contain voice recognition technology that can recognize when you are conversing and switch off the music for you. The music will start playing again as soon as you stop talking.
With a 40-hour operating time on a single charge, the earphones and case also deliver a powerful punch in terms of battery life.
So, feel free to chuck your phone in your bag and just focus on the music and the task at hand.
The Tour Pro 2 will be available in Black and Champagne in January 2023 for US$260.
