‘LEGO In Focus’ Photography Book Captures The World In Eyes Of Minifigs

How would the world look through the lens of a minifig?
LEGO has partnered up with Chronicle Books to bring a coffee table tome that’s all about the very best of brick and minifigure photography.
Comprising the work of 50 toy photographers, mostly hailing from fan photography sites BrickCentral and Stuck in Plastic, the pages “imagine the world from a LEGO point of view.”
The book, which features images from across the globe, puts LEGO figures in a whole range of situations, including diving into an ocean, dancing at a washing machine disco, and even enjoying a lick of ice cream on a sweltering day.
For those looking to peer further into the artists’ brains, the volume even comes with detailed descriptions and progress pictures for a behind-the-scenes look at how the “magic of play” is shot.
This is the first time adult fan communities have come together to work on such a project, bringing to life an original concept through stunning photography and a subtle humor that all fans of LEGO can appreciate.
LEGO in Focus is now available for pre-order on Amazon, retailing for US$35.
