Cheetos Erects 17-Foot Statue Dedicated To Orange-Dust Fingers
By Nicole Rodrigues, 11 Oct 2022
Cheetos is paying homage to what may be the best part of the Cheeto-eating experience; the orange dust left on your fingers.
A 17-foot statue of a hand emerges from the ground, gripping a single puff, with bright neon orange dust covering the fingers. The monument is located in no other than Cheadle, Canada.
If the reference isn’t clear yet, Cheadle was chosen due to its cheesy resemblance to the official brand word for the cheese powder that coats your fingers, ‘Cheetle’.
Cheetle first appeared in pop culture when comedian Richard Hall coined the term in the 1980s. After that, the brand adopted the colloquialism, and ever since, our orange fingers have been granted a name.
The Cheetle Hand Statue is situated at 400 Railway Ave. Fans are encouraged to head down and take photos and videos of the structure just as K.D. Lang has.

Sadly enough, Cheeto enthusiasts only have until November 4 to pay respects to Chester and the almighty orange dust. To be fair to all Cheeto-loving Canadians, the hand will then go on a tour of the country so that others will have a chance to witness it in its savory glory.
