Cadbury Turns Posters Into Secret Santa Postal Services For Christmas
By Alexa Heah, 15 Nov 2022
Every year, fans of Cadbury look forward to the brand’s ‘Secret Santa Postal Service’, and this year is no exception.
Starting now, the chocolatier will transform regular digital and static posters across the United Kingdom into portals where you can send a free chocolate bar—in secret—to loved ones.
Know of someone who loves Cadbury chocolate bars? Simply locate one of the 220 Secret Santa Postal Services, located at bus stops, shopping centers, or just around town.
Once a person scans the QR code on the poster, they’ll be able to choose their recipient’s favorite chocolate bar (while supplies last), sit back, and wait for them to receive the goodies. Just like that.
If there isn’t a poster portal near you, or if there’s someone you really, really want to gift the chocolate to, special locations will open on December 10, 2022, at noon and 3pm to give fans a better chance to send a Cadbury Secret Santa.
According to LBB Online, the brand will release a total of 120,000 chocolate bars over the course of the campaign, which ends on Christmas Eve.
To add to the excitement, there’s no set time for when the elusive posters will pop up throughout the day, so fans will have to be lucky enough to catch them.
Senders can choose from a selection of Cadbury’s original Cadbury Dairy Milk bar, Oreo, Caramel, Wholenut, Fruit and Nut, or Plant bars.
Special products are also available from the winter range, such as the Cadbury Dairy Milk Mini Snowballs bar or Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Wonderland bar.
To end the year on a sweeter note, the company has pledged to donate 75,000 bars of chocolate to over 200 food banks under the Trussell Trust network, as well as a financial contribution to help fight hunger in the country.
