LEGO Zooms In With Ford GT Model Fully Equipped With An Actual V6 Engine
By Nicole Rodrigues, 04 Jan 2023
For all the motorsports enthusiasts out there, LEGO’s latest 2022 Ford GT model may be the closest thing to the real deal that you can own.
The newest offering from the toy company is a 1,466-piece set that comes with intricate details, including a functioning V6 engine to set the car running. It also has independent suspension on all wheels, rear-wheel drive, a moving spoiler, hood and doors, and front-axle steering.
The LEGO version of the vehicle stands at 3.5 inches tall, 15 inches long, and seven inches wide. While working on the project, builders can download the LEGO Builder app to keep track of their progress and view a 3D version of the car to help visualize it during the process.
Once built, the car model can be displayed with its doors swung open or its hood propped up to reveal its chassis.
The Ford GT kit comes at US$119.90, which is considerably cheaper than the full-fledged vehicle.
In other LEGO news, the company has just released a block version of the famous Hokusai Great Wave painting.
