Samsung Calls On An Iconic BMW As Inspiration For Its Special-Edition S23 Ultra

Samsung is not one to shine away from collaborating with other brands for revved-up, special editions of its phones. And its latest S23 lineup is no exception.
After partnering with Mercedes-Benz last year, the tech company is gunning for another leading car manufacturer to create this limited-run phone: BMW.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition takes inspiration from the BMW M3 E30. As an homage to the first generation M3 introduced in 1986, the phone comes packaged with merchandise that celebrates both the tech giant and the German car maker.
With just 1,000 units being produced, those lucky enough to get their hands on one of these sets will be treated to a BMW-branded air compressor, a cup holder, a wireless charger, an analog clock, a photo book, and a poster.
And that’s not all. There is also a BMW-themed case, a key ring with six interchangeable BMW emblems from different eras of the brand, a BMW roundel showcased at the automotive’s 50th anniversary, and a “We Are M” metal logo.
The deluxe edition device will also house customized BMW software, including a special theme and wallpapers. Furthermore, to drive home the deal, it comes with free driving lessons at the BMW Driving Center in Incheon, Seoul.
This special model of the phone is only available to those living in South Korea via SK Telecom. Preorders will run up to February 13, and the device will cost KRW1,727,000 (US$1362.83).
