Airbnb’s Most Expensive Listing Is An Entire Island That You Can Rent

Are you tired of hotels that all look the same? Airbnb has a myriad of options to fit any intrepid traveler looking for their next adventure, from treehouses to Hobbit holes and even the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine van. However, its most opulent offering is not just a luxurious villa and its many amenities, but the entire island it rests on.
Musha Cay at Copperfield Bay is located in the Exuma Chain of the southern Bahamas and consists of a sprawling villa, a tennis court, a dock, and a stunning untouched jungle that encompasses the home. David Copperfield first bought the island in 2006 for US$50 million. However, now it is rented out on the platform for US$60,000 a night, Airbnb’s most expensive listing.
The accommodation is 10,000 square feet, holds 12 bedrooms and 13.5 bathrooms, and has four other guest houses on the grounds in case you and your party need some time away from each other while being stuck on an island together.
On the property, you’ll find a massage room, gym, activity center, tennis court, and a private dock for the 28-foot Nautilus Rib Catamaran, jet skis, and sailboats. However, you and your guests might be caught spending most of your vacation at ‘The Landing’, which includes the dining area, bar, lounge, billiard room, and a viewing dock.
Of course, such a vast space as this doesn’t run on its own. There will be 30 staff members, including chefs, butlers, gardeners, boatmen, and daily housekeeping.
The aesthetics of the homes can be traced back to the English colonial style accented with a breezy tropical feel seen in the teak wood furniture, lush green plants, white linen beds, and stone statues.
