Louis Vuitton Debuts Its First Baby Collection With Mini-Sized Keepsakes
By Mikelle Leow, 13 Apr 2023
After pandering to grownups with disposable incomes, Louis Vuitton is taking to cradles, having launched its first collection for babies aged three to 12 months.
With the Louis Vuitton Baby Collection, opulence is now as easy as ABC as the array covers apparel, accessories, teddy bears, and even trunks to become baby’s first luxuries.
Splashed in soft pastels of white, pink, blue, beige, and gray are onesies, co-ords, coats, pajamas, knitwear, as well as beanies, shoes, and socks.
The selection also includes objects like a special Louis Teddy Bear, a silver tumbler, knitted blankets, a baby suitcase, a silver rattle, and even a baby wardrobe in the shape of the maison’s classic trunks.
Playfully peppered throughout are Louis Vuitton’s flowers and monograms, of course.
The pieces are also crafted with circularity in mind, with each item constructed from responsibly-sourced materials, says Louis Vuitton.
Prices range from US$355, for a beanie, to a lofty US$73,000 for the wardrobe trunk.
Let’s be realistic here—the little ones will grow out of these garments in no time. However, the luxury house states that the clothing and objects are designed to be lifelong keepsakes that can be handed down from generation to generation.
