Domino’s Delivers Pizza Via Jetpack To Hungry Festival-Goers
All that high energy at the five-day Glastonbury Festival will likely leave visitors peckish. For Domino’s Pizza in the UK, that means business is taking off too, literally.
To get hot meals through a crowd of over 200,000 attendees, the chain thought out of the pizza box and delivered pies via a jetpack.
As depicted in new footage, Domino’s placed a pilot in a custom jet suit and sent him off to hand out a couple of ’zas to customers by air. The entire sight makes autonomous delivery fleets look like things of the past.
The gear, developed by human flight club Gravity Industries, was strapped with a Domino’s carrier.
When asked if the one-off service will be expanded to new horizons, a Domino’s spokesperson couldn’t confirm but told Mail Online that the program “has legs… or wings …or jets.”
