LEGO Debuts Abstract Modern Art Kit To Let Creativity Abound With 805 Pieces
By Alexa Heah, 28 Jul 2023
Earlier this month, LEGO debuted a gargantuan 4,803-piece Harry Potter Gringotts Bank set, complete with its own labyrinth of vaults “underground.” While its latest release doesn’t boast as many pieces, it’s certainly one that will let builders push the boundaries of creativity.
Enter the LEGO 31210 Modern Art set, an 805-piece abstract kit that allows enthusiasts to create their very own masterpieces—positioning the Danish building blocks as a brand-new medium for art.
Fans will be able to snag the highly-anticipated release from August 1, 2023, which will retail for US$49.99. The best part? Each set enables fans to build not one but four separate brick sculptures, each of which comes with its own instructions.
Of course, as with abstract art, individuals won’t be bound by rules. Instead, there’s no limit to the number of pieces one can come up with just from this single set via its collection of colorful rectangles, triangles, and circles.
In addition, the accompanying hanger element allows fans to display their artwork proudly once it’s been completed. Measuring over 12.5 inches high and 7.5 inches wide, the vibrant piece will no doubt be the perfect addition to any interior.
