If you’re still feeling blue about the loss of the bird, you might be delighted to know that you can snag one for your home.
With X shedding its long-standing Twitter identity, it’s also getting rid of the stuff reminding it of life pre-Elon Musk. The “everything app” is selling off over 500 items from its San Francisco headquarters in an auction entitled Twitter Rebranding: Online Auction Featuring Memorabilia, Art, Office Assets & More!, hosted by Heritage Global Partners.

Among the hundreds of objects on offer are fixtures associated with the old Twitter brand, like a wooden coffee table carved out in the shape of the bird mascot, as well as neon light signs of the chirpy logo, hashtag, ‘@’ symbol, and one reading ‘Blue Room’.

Twitter previously held a similar auction after Musk bought over the app and implemented dramatic changes companywide.

Another noteworthy item X/Twitter wants to clear is a hanging sofa with a birdcage design. Because, remember, bird is no longer the word (X is no longer calling tweets tweets—they’re known as posts now).

For the musically-inclined, there’s a full set of ‘Twitter Essential’s’ featuring a record player and 24 nostalgic albums by famous names like ABBA, David Bowie, Elton John, Prince, Madonna, Nirvana, and John Lennon.

The auction kicks off on September 12, and all bids—including Eames furniture and industrial refrigerators (!)—will start from US$25.
