‘Magic Fort’ Is A Tent That Inflates Into Multi-Story Cabin With Parking Space

The creative minds at startup Thecatal have brought the ‘Magic Fort’ as part of their Boundary Series, an inflatable ground tent that defies conventional camping norms. The multi-level structure doubles as both a camper and a garage, providing shelter for nature enthusiasts and their vehicles.
The Magic Fort sprawls across a generous 431-square-foot footprint. The tent takes shape as the main body inflates into a sturdy structure, while your vehicle can cruise through its spacious central entrance.
It can house up to 12 people comfortably, and if you run out of space on the first level, you can set up camp on the loft via an inflatable drop-stitch mattress placed onto the roof of your car.
However, if you’re traveling without a car or in an RV, the Magic Fort can stand independently as a regular tent with supplementary awnings to extend its canopy.
The interior has rooms for sleeping, changing, lounging, and even indulging in a makeshift theater for a movie night under the stars.
Designed to brave all seasons, the Magic Fort boasts specialized venting mechanisms that circulate the air. Its weatherproof fabric not only thwarts the elements but also offers UV protection and blackout capabilities, ensuring restful sleep and optimal movie screenings.
This lineup also features the ‘Smart Shell’, an inflatable dome tent for two to four occupants.
This smaller offering is a versatile companion, adaptable to different camping scenarios. It is a standalone ground tent, providing a cozy shelter for outdoor enthusiasts. Alternatively, it can be attached to the rear of a hatchback vehicle, becoming a camper that extends your vehicle’s footprint.
Thecatal has embarked on a Kickstarter campaign with the Magic Fort as its flagship creation. Pledges start at US$2,499, while the Smart Shell goes for US$699.
