PANTONE has named its first 2024 colors, poised to grace next year’s Spring/Summer fits. Coinciding with New York Fashion Week (NYFW), the color authority’s trend forecast takes a deep dive into multi-faceted colors that echo people’s yearning for authenticity and meaningful expression. A blend of vibrant shades, nature-inspired tones, and timeless core heritage colors converge, delivering a powerful and welcoming message for the warmer months.

The resulting palette exudes nostalgia while embracing transformation and positivity. These colors speak to a newfound sense of freedom, igniting our creative potential as we reimagine the future, according to PANTONE’s experts. With personal self-expression at its core, this fashion season invites style-seekers to embrace joy and comfort through the vibrant language of color.

10 notable shades on the Spring 2024 runway include ‘Rooibos Tea’, a rich, full-bodied red with woody undertones; ‘Watercress’, a lively green with a peppery presence; ‘Pastel Lilac’, a soft lavender that is said to nearly evoke sweet aromas; and ‘Capri’, a vivid blue evoking the azure waters of the Mediterranean grotto.
