The new face of The North Face is none other than Big Ben.
In an eye-opening social media stunt by sportswear retailer JD Sports, the London monument makes a landmark move by posing in a Nuptse 1996 Jacket to stay cozy through the winter.
Onlookers, dressed in The North Face wear, are seen pointing at the architectural marvel in amusement.
If you haven’t already guessed, the 310-foot tower isn’t actually wearing a giant puffer jacket. The sighting is a CGI creation led by JD Sports, the latest of a string of brands who have harnessed computer-generated magic to weave fantastical elements into their offerings and make them appear larger than life. You may recall Maybelline pulling off something similar with a giant mascara for buses and trains, or L’Oréal Paris’ activation involving an oversized lipstick riding down the streets and painting the town red.
Not convinced that this is the best the two sports brands can do, one fan has even styled Big Ben in a full wintry getup.

The North Face’s prominence during the colder months is undeniable, and now even London’s famous clock tower is chiming in (wink) for added validation.
